Outside sources indicate that there once existed a school known as the West Hope school. The copy of the painting below was once labeled Alford Flat school but that has since been shown to be false. Another possibility is that it is a painting of the West Hope school. It is possible that the house pictured below is the original school building somewhat modified. An investigation will continue.
