The album from which all of the pictues were copied, plus most of the information, came from Bob Crabtree. Much of the information in this section is presented from his position in the family. For example Frank Crabtree is presented as Bob's grandfather. The pictures are mostly presented in the same order in which they appeared in the Album.

The first Crabtree to buy land in Hope was Eleazer Crabtree who purchased it for his son Samuel. It was purchased from Charles Whitney in 1813. The property is shown in this satellite picture. There follows an abreviated family tree.
