Sion Wentworth came from Stoughton, MA., to Appleton. He is an ancestor as his daughter
Waitstill married Norton Pease. Their dau., Lucy Jane Pease married Ezekiel H. Athearn.

Parents of Sion, are Sion Sr., 1725-1776 born and died, Stoughton,MA. married
Hannah Pettingill 1730-1780. He was a blacksmith

Sion Wentworth, he and his brothers Shubel/Shubael and Lemuel all
came from Stoughton,MA.,to settle in Hope. Lemuel and Shubel/Shubae
l had served in the Military forces in Stoughton in several engagements
during the Revolutionary War. Their father Shubael remained in Mass.
